Franchise Advisory Board

Mission Statement

The Hughes Franchise Advisory Board (FAB) is a group of professionals representing franchise-based businesses who share a vested interest in the successful innovation and improvement of current and future Hughes products, services, and solutions. The core functions of the Hughes FAB are to act as a sounding board for Hughes to share vision on new products and services and receive feedback on their applicability to the Franchisees needs, provide information to Hughes on franchise specific business needs and concerns, and to help Hughes formulate communication out to the broad franchise community.

At Hughes, we are customer-driven. We have a motto that states “Talk, Listen, and Learn” when it comes to customer interaction. As a Hughes customer you have access to a team of people, including your account manager, program manager, and solution consultant. These women and men are resources to your company and also information pipelines back to the Hughes product teams, bringing back your ideas, concerns, and challenges to help us identify places where we can innovate, enhance, or update the solutions we are providing to your specific market segment.

At Hughes, we are providing services to a wide range of franchisee organizations, companies who are operating retail locations under one or more franchise brand flags. These business owners are unique and have unique requirements from a managed service provider like Hughes. In order to better understand this market and to help us better serve our existing and prospective franchise customers, we operate a Franchise Advisory Board (FAB).

Role and Purpose

The FAB exists as an organized feedback channel for Hughes to hear from and talk to leaders in the franchise industry about franchise-related business and technology issues. Our goal is to learn from this interaction, thus fulfilling our motto of “Talk, Listen, and Learn”. The FAB holds quarterly virtual meetings that vary in length, depending on the agenda. Once a year the group will gather at the annual Hughes User Group (HUG) conference. Participation in the FAB entitles the member to a no-cost conference pass to the HUG Conference. As a member of the FAB, you are committing to attend the quarterly meeting and, if possible, the annual conference event. A formal agenda and any relevant content will be distributed in advance to prepare for discussions at the quarterly meeting.
